Auðn’s Farvegir Fyrndar dropped fairly late this year, so I haven’t
gotten to spend very much time with it, but it was my companion on a
couple of transcontinental flights. They play an atmospheric melodic
tinged black metal which while it doesn’t bring much new to the table
is mostly well executed, it does it self well as background music, but
that might also be one of it’s main weaknesses, some of the songs have
a tendancy to run together a bit. However a fairly minor complaint,
overall not bad.
