Ofermod is one of those bands I've followed over the years but it's
never quite clicked with me, _Drakosophia_ did though and it's been on
a fairly even rotation since it's release earlier this year. There
hasn't been a huge change in style or sound, so I'm curious now to go
back over their back catalog to see what I overlooked or if perhaps it
just took small tweaks to finally make it click. The sound has taken a
rather large step forward, being fuller, richer, and crisper but
without sounding necessarily clean or clinical, but it's in your face
in a way I've not felt on their previous releases. Further song
writing and composition has tightened up, especially the back half of
the release (starting with _Zazas Zazas Nasatanada Zazas_) which goes
from strength to strength. It will be interesting to see where this
goes next.
