Unfortunately Destructhor and Secthdamon have been busy bees in other bands over the past 20 years so not much has happened. Now they've been playing some shows and new material is supposedly being written (which I'll believe once I hear it). Now regardless of what they may or may not eventually release it will be a tall order to even come close to what they achieved here, as this is a beast of an album. The riffs are sharp, the drumming is ridiculously intense, and most importantly the song writing and composition is tight as hell. There is not a wasted riff here, and as veterans of the Norwegian scene you can clearly tell they picked up some blackmetal influences as these are rarely straight up deathmetal riffs, making this more than just your standard brutal deathmetal album. I would be remiss if I didn't mention _Secthdamon_'s monstrous drumming on this album, his double bass speed especially is hard to fathom, prime example being on _Bleeding Wrists_, where he clearly competes with some of the best ones out there, but he can also break it down when that's required, this isn't a grindcore album (although there are times when you might think so). If you are a death and/or blackmetal fan this is an album which belongs in your collection. [Myrkskog](https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Myrkskog/1134) ---
