Another new find for me is Acrimonious, who brings us their third
album _Eleven Dragons_. The Hellenic trio brings us 11 (shocking)
tracks of latter day black metal often reminiscent of a time before
Watain got boring. So while there isn't much here that is decidedly
groundbreaking, but it's well written, and executed. The production
does deserve a mention as it's got that perfect blend where you can
hear everything perfectly yet still has some grime and warmth to it
keeping it from becoming sterile. This is a great album which deserves
more recognition than it's gotten, and since the band is apparently
philosophically opposed to PR, hopefully this brings it to some new
ears.
