I don't listen too much to death metal anymore, but when I do it's the
most interesting death metal in the world. Hyperbole and bad jokes
aside, Ulcerate has released a great album with _Vermis_; there is
enough chaos here to keep me interested but without losing sight of
the greater picture resulting in some good songs. This is a rare
things these days, many bands of the technical inclination tend to
fall into the trap of too many riffs or too much chaos, resulting in
an inaudible mess. So it's always a good thing to find a band that
does it right.
